Looking for the ultimate honeymoon? Here are just a few...

Planning
The seven wedding tasks to delegate now!
As soon as you say ‘Yes’ you should start thinking about how to get your nearest and dearest involved to help you plan your dream day…

1 Wedding website
Do you have a friend who is a whizz on WordPress or a social media guru? Ask them to create wedding websites, Facebook groups and hashtags for all the background and information about your big day
2 Chief bridesmaid
Nominate one of your bridesmaids to manage the group. Maybe even ask her to help search for the perfect dresses within your budget, co-ordinate meet-ups and try-ons and take care of your hen do
3 Flower fact finding
Everyone knows someone who is ‘good with flowers’ and this person could be researching what’s available at the venue to use for floral arrangements, look at what’s in season, and stalk local florists to see what their style is, and if it aligns with your ideas

4 Places to stay
If you already have your venue, ask a friend to research accommodation in the area so that you can give your guests a list of places to stay when you send out the invitations. Good places get booked up and it’s never too early!
5 Running around
As the day approaches, you would do well to nominate someone you trust to collect things from suppliers, deliver things to the venue, help guests with their transport to the venue, co-ordinate with on-the-day suppliers and by being the point of contact the day before and the morning of the big day. This should be someone you trust, and not already be in the wedding party. This person could also relocate any items, like flower arrangements from the church to go to the reception venue
6 Venue set up
Depending how much there is to do, it might be asking a small team of strong people to go to the reception venue and help with set up and decoration – especially if your venue is hire only, a marquee or a rustic affair

7 Sounds good
Putting your playlist together is easier if you enlist a few people whose music taste you trust! Or as your guests for their requests and ask someone to curate the list from those. Check our music to walk down the aisle to suggestions here
Involving your friends and relatives in your wedding planning is such a great thing to do, meaning that they will enjoy your big day that bit more and relieve you of some of the pressure, too. Knowing that you are covered for most aspects of the day will hopefully mean you can relax a bit more on your wedding morning, too.
