St Vincent implements a new online process to obtain marriage licences

St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) is strategically advancing its efforts to make destination weddings possible at the click of a button. Couples wishing to marry on this popular Caribbean island will now be able to register from home!

St. Vincent and the Grenadines is a southern Caribbean nation comprising a main island, St. Vincent, and a chain of smaller islands. With yacht-filled harbours, chic private isles and volcanic landscapes.

According to Minister of Tourism Carlos James, the government of SVG has recently implemented an online application system to streamline the process for a marriage licence for those who wish to get married on the island. This initiative aims to enhance efficiency and practicality for prospective guests.

“We are putting in place an online application process that makes it easier for visitors, whereby couples can simply log in online, load their information, and be processed electronically. The new provisions in the law will remove the requirement that visitors have to be in the state at least a day or two prior to the application process,” James stated.

So getting wed on this gorgeous Island has just got easier!
