Wedding Theme
Photoshoot Inspiration / Daring Disco Wedding

The idea behind this styled photoshoot started with a bright and bold wedding colour palette, dazzling disco balls and a pair of roller skates! With a modern, hot pink colour scheme, this styling invites you to inject a whole lot of fun into your disco wedding theme.

The Venue
This styled photoshoot took place at Oakfield Gardens in the heart of Worcestershire. With 9 acres of gardens, the team were spoilt for choice when it came to photographing backdrops.
The styling and set-up took place in the venues Nordic Marquee. The marquee is the perfect blank canvas for you to create the wedding of your dreams, adding colour, florals and hanging decorations to style the space.

Concept and Inspiration
Adelle Johns of Bunting and Willow Weddings came up with the concept for this styled photoshoot as a way to work on something a bit different to their usual brief of timeless elegance. For this theme, the team wanted to create something unique, fun and high-energy, edging away from muted colours and traditional ideas.
Taking disco balls, hot pinks and roller skates as the initial inspiration for the styling, the creative team got to work creating a playful disco theme with a bright and bold wedding colour palette finished with dazzling details.
Statement hanging arrangements created with brightly coloured ribbon, florals and shiny disco balls were complemented by elegant tablescapes. Hot pink table runners topped with brightly coloured taper candles, glass bud vases and pink blooms made the rustic trestle tables pop. Each place setting was finished with glass plate chargers, place names adorned with tassels and modern menu cards.
Twinkling fairy lights in the marque added a magical touch, along with the ‘Death Do Us Party’ Neon sign, which makes a perfect photograph backdrop for evening receptions.
The team wanted to show what could be achieved by being a little bit bold with your decor choices, and it definitely paid off!

Dress to Impress
The choice of dress perfectly echoed the styling for the photoshoot. A short bridal gown, complete with ruffles, added a sense of whimsy and fun to the bridal look. Paired with hot pink boots (or roller skates, of course!) and a bright bouquet of blooms, the look is chic and modern, perfect for the alternative bride.
